Compa is for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is a design requirement, not an afterthought.

Our standard

We build Compa to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the international standard for accessible web content, along with plain-language guidance so information stays understandable in a crisis.

What this means in practice

Fully keyboard operable: every button, link, menu, and form control works without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
Screen-reader friendly: semantic landmarks, labeled forms, and text alternatives or hidden states for decorative graphics.
Readable by design: text contrast meets WCAG AA, and animations respect your reduced-motion setting.
Plain language first: short sentences and everyday words, because clarity saves lives in an emergency.
Multilingual and low-bandwidth friendly: this site is available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, and stays usable on slow connections.

Known limitations

Compa is in private development, and we are continuously improving. Some older content may not yet fully meet our standard. If you find a barrier, please tell us: your report helps us fix it faster.
